Culture & Couture 2024 Runway
Our biggest event yet... a fashion show and cultural celebration. A night of celebrating diversity, runway, socializing, and fashion! Supported by Kooshoo, Pocket clothing, WIN Consignment, Starfruitz Vintage, Chinese Dance Victoria, UMANG, Vicfits, ACSA & more. This event was held at Wicket Hall.
Taylor Swift Night 2024
Our Taylor Swift night at Wicket Hall called More Champagne, More Problems. The night was filled with every single era, from debut to Midnights!
There was also an outfit contest, so visitors came dressed as their fav era and entered the chance to win a Taylor themed prize!

Paint Night 2023
Our final event of the semester!! Participants brought in their own clothes that needed a little TLC, and we provided paints, brushes, pallets, and anything else you could think of!!! We want to promote using sustainable practices and spice up old clothes before buying new ones.
Thrifting Day Event 2023
Our first event was a huge success!!!!! A day of thrifting were we got to know each other!

Cultural Showcase 2023
The UVic Fashion Society had the privilege of participating in the Cultural Showcase, a wonderful event hosted by @uvicacsa and @soccollective . When speaking to the coordinators or the event, their goal was to use the power of fashion, art, and culture to connect people. “People are stronger together”.
This Cultural Showcase was not only about fashion; it was an opportunity to listen to the members of ACSA and SOCC as they shared their stories, culture, and voices. We met fashion designers, artists, and caterers who represented a wide range of countries and cultures. We were honored to learn from them and appreciate the rich diversity they brought to the event.
